A little bit about KCF

we have previously had a showroom mainly focused on domestic interiors called Kudos Interiors, providing an interior design service, furniture, lighting, wallpaper, fabrics, accessories… everything you can think of. Sounds great doesn’t it? So what happened? Why the change in direction?

We still have access to all of the above mentioned, but the main focus now is working together with Central Upholstery for the commercial sector.

Although Kudos Interiors was successful to a point, the location was not prime for the type of shop / showroom it was, so the change was decided during the first lockdown in 2020 to close Kudos Interiors and start fresh with Kudos Contract Furniture.

With all the contacts and suppliers we already have from Kudos Interiors and Central Upholstery, you would like to think it would be a relatively simple task…Naïve to say the least…with a new website, all new social medias, a whole new showroom, a digital catelogue as well as everything else that needed to be completed, it was almost lucky that Central Upholstery had an extremely busy year so KCFurniture’s timescale for opening was pushed back!

our main draw is loose and fixed seating, headboards, lighting, wallpaper and soft furnishings.

We decided to keep the name ‘Kudos’ so our previous customers knew we are still the same friendly business, and hopefully it gives off the message we will still welcome you back, but also shows we now cater for a different sector also…hence the added ‘contract furniture’ or KCF for short…Not, to be confused with KFC…yes, we are fully aware, and we kind of love the abbreviation – good luck to anyone answering the phone for KCF though!
